A-NRD Studio
Interiors
A London interior architecture and design studio founded by Alessio Nardi, behind KOL and . “No Velvet Ropes Society” at the Ministry of Sound in London. Led with creative partner Lukas Persakovas, A-NRD shaped the interiors at Arthouse, balancing restoration with contemporary intervention and weaving local makers and artists throughout.

Vicky Higginson
Glass Artist
An Edinburgh glass artist working in hand-blown and cold-worked glass, exploring ritual and narrative through the material. Each glass pendant suspended in the rooms was made in her studio, the soft irregularities catching the light a little differently from one to the next.

David Iain Brown
Art
A Glasgow artist working across painting and collage, David Iain Brown reuses discarded materials, fragments of earlier paintings, canvas and studio remnants, so each surface carries its own history. For Arthouse he made a series of site-responsive works that hang in the rooms.

Bath, Body.
Meaning the earth in Danish, Verden is a natural fragrance brand for bath, body and home, from Charlotte Semler and Arabella Preston. Its plant-based soaps and bath products wait in every room, a small daily pleasure for guests to find.

Studio Kumari
Floristry
A Glasgow floral and set design studio founded by Sophie Mahandru, working in a distinctive style that treats flowers as a medium for form and material. From her West End studio, Studio Kumari creates the floral arrangements that sit throughout the hotel.

Illyus Brown
Music and Live Programming
A Glasgow DJ, producer and music consultant with more than twenty years across the city's clubs, bars and hotels, and named Scottish Music Producer of the Year. At Arthouse the sound is his: the playlists that move with the hours, and the live acts he brings in each weekend.

Ripe Magazines
In-Property Reading
Founded by Linda McIntosh in 2019, Ripe is a Glasgow magazine and bookshop devoted to photography, counterculture, art, music and film. Linda chose the magazines and publications you will find in the rooms and public spaces, with the discerning eye she is known for in Glasgow and beyond.

Bare Bones Chocolate
A Taste of Glasgow
A micro-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate maker founded in Glasgow by Cameron and Lara, working with cacao from small cooperatives and stone-grinding in small runs across the city. Every room carries a Bare Bones bar, wrapped by hand, a first taste of Glasgow.

Kate Glenn
The Arthouse Award, inaugural recipient
A Glasgow-based interdisciplinary artist examining feminist practice in a contemporary context and the first recipient of the Arthouse Award. Her commission came in two parts: RADICAL / REBIRTH, painted in blue across the windows as a public address to the street, and a permanent work “PEACE/PLACE” inside the lobby that keeps her mark in the building for good.

One of Europe's leading art schools, ranked eighth in the world in 2026, the GSA has shaped Glasgow's creative life for nearly 140 years. Together we established the Arthouse Award: a bursary and a public commission at the hotel, renewed every year, supporting new Glasgow practice when it matters most.
